Road English — driving vocabulary for learners
Road English is a free built-in module that teaches the English driving and road-safety vocabulary you need to understand the Irish Driver Theory Test and to drive confidently in Ireland — around a thousand words and phrases with translations, examples and an interactive car diagram.

The theory test is written in English, and so are the road signs, instructions and everyday driving situations you will meet in Ireland. Road English gathers the vocabulary that matters — signs and markings, junctions and roundabouts, speed and stopping, car controls and parts, hazards and weather, and the phrasing the exam itself uses — each with a clear translation and an example so the word sticks.
An interactive car diagram
Many theory-test questions and real driving instructions refer to parts of the car — the clutch, handbrake, indicators, dashboard warning lights and more. Road English includes an interactive car diagram so you can tap a part and learn its English name, what it does and how it comes up in the test, instead of memorising a flat word list.

Road English is designed for people preparing for the Irish test whose first language is not English — especially Ukrainians and other newcomers. Every term is shown in English with a Ukrainian or Russian translation, so you build the exact English vocabulary the exam expects while always understanding what it means.
Learn the words the test uses
The goal is not general English but the specific language of Irish roads and the Driver Theory Test. When you already know that a triangular sign is a “warning”, that “yield” means give way, or what “hard shoulder” and “dual carriageway” mean, the questions stop being a language test and become a knowledge test — which is exactly what they are meant to be.
